Boating
This is the perfect location for boating – whether you are trying to catch a few big ones, skiing down the diversion, zipping around on jet skis, or just taking a relaxing river cruise. We do not provide life jackets, so please remember to bring your own and follow all safety and boating regulations.
Launching Your Own Boat
You can launch your boat at Canal Bank, which is located just three miles from the River House. There is a $5 – $10 dollar fee to launch (the fee varies depending on the day of the week), and you can leave your trailer parked in the lot for the duration of your stay. There may be an overnight fee to leave the trailer, so check in with Canal Bank before launch. Trailer parking is not allowed in the Three Rivers Island parking lot, but you can park in the grassy area on the right side of the lot or alongside the road in the grass along the Three Rivers Island parking fence.
Using the River House Boat Lifts
The River House has two boat lifts for your use, one motorized and one manual. If you are planning on bringing or renting a boat, please send us a message for more detailed operating instructions.
Renting a Boat
Canal Bank Club Boat Rentals
Canal Bank Club is located right on the Diversion Canal. Not only do they have boat rentals, they also have a great location with food, drinks, live music, and even a playground for the kiddies. These boats are kept right down the river from The River House. Check them out at https://www.canalbankclub.com/ ! Also, if you rent a boat, don’t forget to check out the Blind River Bar, a bar and grill only accessible by boat. Run by the same great people as Canal Bank, Blind River Bar boasts live music, food, drinks, a gift shop, and even a splash pad for kids. Be sure to check their website for events and info. They are typically only open on weekends during the summer when the weather is safe for boating.

The River House is located near great fishing, skiing, and general boating areas. Check out Blind River for smooth skiing, the Petite Amite for fishing, and don’t forget the Maurepas Sandbar for swimming and fun!
