Halloween is one of my family’s favorite holidays. We have a blast dressing up and coming up with ideas that match (yeah…we are cheesy but whatever). My husband Kent even proposed to me at a Halloween party. Read about that story here. The proposal was also featured on the How He Asked website! My family consists of myself, my husband, my 14 year old step daughter, and my 7 month old son. We are thinking about some family themes we could possibly pull off for our Halloween party we plan on having 🙂 Here are some family halloween costume ideas we have come up with – descriptions are written below! Farmers | Kent and I could be farmers, Parker could be a cow and Trinity could be a scarecrow 🙂 |
Wizard of Oz | See the aforementioned scarecrow for me, a baby lion for Parker, Dorothy for Trinity, and the tin man for Kent. |
Superheroes | Random assortment of saviors |
Insects | Caterpillar for Parker (super fun since he will be crawling or scooting around more by then), butterflies for Trinity and I, and Kent can be a bug catcher 🙂 |
Ghostbusters | Parker could be slimer…appropriate since he slimes me all the time! The rest of us could be ghost busters |
80s Cartoons | Kent can be gumby, I’ll be rainbow bright, Parker could be a smurf, and Trinity could be a carebear. Kent already has a gumby outfit, so we are halfway there for this one 🙂 |
The incredibles | wear red with black undies on the outside. done. |
Classic Halloween Characters | Parker could be a pumpkin, I could be a witch, Kent could be a scarecrow, and Trinity could be a ghost. |
Alice in Wonderland | Trinity could be Alice, I could be the queen of hearts, Kent could be the mad hatter, and Parker could be the rabbit. |
Ninja Turtles | They even have a baby one. |
Ninjas | This would go well with the theme from last year…with Parker being a skeleton ninja as seen through the xray 🙂 |
